British Columbia welcomes 74 immigration applicants in Tech Pilot draw
In a recent draw held on September 22, The province of British Columbia issued ITA for 74 candidates in the Tech Pilot draw. This invitation was held under the Express Entry and Skilled Immigration Categories.
The September 22 draw saw the base score stay in the low 80s, as has been the case for Tech Pilot draws since the start of May.
The candidates who have received the ITA are required to have a valid job offer that is at least one year, in one of the pilot's 29 in a demand occupation.
What is BC PNP Tech Pilot:
The BC PNP Tech Pilot is an initiative under the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) to support the tech sector in recruiting top international talent.
All BC PNP categories, except the International Post-Graduate categories, require a job offer from a B.C. employer. • Job offers must be for at least one year (365 days), and the job offer must have at least 120 days remaining at the time of application to the BC PNP.
Eligible Occupation for BC PNP Tech Pilot:
- Telecommunication carriers managers;
- Civil engineers;
- Database analysts and data administrators;
- Translators, terminologists, and interpreters;
- Graphic designers and illustrators;
- Information systems testing technicians;
- Audio and video recording technicians;
- Chemical engineers
