French Speaking and Bilingual candidates now eligible for additional points under Express Entry
In a recent announcement of Canada’s Immigration Minister, Marco Mendicino, candidates who can speak French and are bilingual will earn additional Express Entry points.
By the end of 2023, Canada aims to admin 4.4 percent of French-speaking immigrants outside of Quebec. As per the figure for 2019, the total percentage of French-speaking immigrants who immigrated to Canada outside Quebec was 2.82 percent.

As per the announcement for this change, it will be easier for French-speaking countries, also called Francophone Countries, to immigrate to Canada.
