Manitoba holds first PNP draw of the year inviting 272 candidates.jpg

Manitoba invited 272 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the latest draw. The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) invited candidates in three immigration streams: Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Workers Overseas. Each stream had a different number of Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs), invitations.

Skilled Workers in Manitoba earned 236 LAAs, all selected candidates had an Expression of Interest (EOI) score of at least 461. International Education Stream earned 29 LAAs with no EOI requirement to meet. Skilled Workers Overseas earned 7 LAAs, all candidates selected had a minimum EOI score of 722. Only 18 Express Entry Candidates earned an LAA.

MPNP will only give Express Entry candidates LAAs if they have a valid Express Entry ID, a job seeker validation code, and verifiable experience in an in-demand occupation in Manitoba. The Skilled Worker Overseas candidates were only considered if they were directly invited under a strategic recruitment initiative. MPNP encourages candidates to check their profiles to ensure all information is included and valid identification is included.
