Provincial Nominee Program draws held in Nova Scotia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan
The first draw this week was held by Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) invited immigration candidates to apply through its Labour Market Priorities stream. The NSNP did not disclose how many invitations were issued. This is the first draw by Nova Scotia this year. The Labour Market Priorities stream is linked with Express Entry, meaning individuals who received invitations must have a valid Express Entry profile. Candidates who received invitations were part of National Occupation Classification (NOC) code 1114 – financial officer.
Alberta held their first draw of the year earlier this month. This is Alberta’s first draw since June 2020. The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) issued 50 invitations to candidates with valid Express Entry profiles. Candidates who received invitations had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 406.
Saskatchewan immigration held an Expression of Interest draw this week. Saskatchewan targeted 79 occupations with 502 invitations to apply (ITAs). Candidates we part of two streams: Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) and Express Entry. The SINP draw sent 313 ITAs to candidates in the Occupations In-Demand stream with skills and experience in one of 79 NOC codes. Candidates in this stream needed a minimum CRS score of 77 points. Express Entry candidates received 189 invitations with skills and experience in the same 79 NOC codes. Candidates in this stream needed a minimum CRS score of 77 points.
