Prince Edward Island held its first immigration draw of 2021 inviting 211

Prince Edward Island (PEI) sent out 211 invitations to apply (ITAs) to skilled workers and entrepreneur candidates in its first draw of the year. The PEI Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) issued invitations to candidates in the Labour Impact, Express Entry, and Business Impact streams.

The majority of invitations were sent to candidates in the Express Entry and Labour Impact streams, with a total of 196 ITAs. The minimum score for these candidates were not released. The Labour Impact stream is for foreign nationals who have a valid job offer in PEI and have support from their employer.

The remaining 15 invitations were given to Business Impact candidates. The Business Impact candidates needed a minimum score of 80 to receive an ITA. All selected Business Impact candidates were part of the Work Permit Stream (WPS). WPS is for foreign entrepreneurs who want to own and operate a business in PEI.
