10 occupations targeted in new Ontario PNP draw invited Express Entry candidates
Ontario invited Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination on March 2.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued invitations to candidates who may be eligible for the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP). This Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allows foreign workers the opportunity to launch their careers in Ontario.
In this draw, the OINP invited Express Entry candidates if they had experience in one of the following ten (10) occupations:
- NOC 0122 – banking, credit and other investment managers;
- NOC 0124 – advertising, marketing and public relations managers;
- NOC 0125 – other business services managers’
- NOC 0601 – corporate sales managers;
- NOC 1111 – financial auditors and accountants;
- NOC 1112 – financial and investment analysts;
- NOC 1121 – human resources professionals;
- NOC 1122 – professional occupations in business management consulting;
- NOC 3012 – registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses; and
- NOC 4163 – business development officers and marketing researchers and consultants.
The targeted occupations in this draw are identical to Ontario’s previous targeted occupations draw in early February.
Invited Express Entry candidates were required to have at least one (1) year of work experience in their field, one of the ten occupations, in order to receive the provincial nomination.
If candidates receive a nomination in this or any other Express Entry aligned PNP, candidates will be bumped to the front of the line to receive an invitation to apply (ITA) for permanent residence.
