Manitoba PNP holds new draw issuing 299 invitations to candidates
Manitoba invited 299 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination on March 11th. This was Manitoba’s fifth (5th) draw of 2021.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) issued Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to candidates from the Skilled Worker and International Graduate categories. Candidates were from three (3) streams: Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas, and International Education Stream.
The LAAs and minimum Expression of Interest (EOI) score requirements were as follows:
Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 261 invitations needing a minimum EOI score of 459.
Skilled Workers Overseas: 35 invitations, no minimum EOI score disclosed.
International Education Stream: 3 invitations needing a minimum EOI score of 728.
A total of 35 LAAs were issued to candidates who had a valid Express Entry ID and a job seeker validation code.
The three (3) candidates who received LAAs through the Skilled Workers Overseas stream were invited directly by the Manitoba PNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
If you are interested in receiving a provincial nomination from Manitoba, you need to register an Expression of Interest account with the Manitoba PNP. This allows you to potentially receive an LAA through the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas streams.
Manitoba PNP will rank candidates out of 1,000 points for human capital factors and your connections to the province.
To receive an invitation under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, candidates need to have a full-time job offer from a provincial employer.
To receive an invitation under the International Education Stream, international graduates who complete education in Manitoba and can demonstrate that they have in-demand skills.
